Family values – Torah style

Menora Last week I got followed by a string of people on Twitter, one of whom was openTorah. Intrigued – (who knows why one ends up being followed – I turned around to see what they were up to. And found among other things this blog post about family life. Interesting. Not necessarily a route I would take myself.  What I do respond to is a reaction against the default – let media channels rife inside the house and acquire whatever the brands and style gurus tell you you should own.  Managing your home spaces is more than thinking about interior design. Changing the pictures on the walls is getting radical. Giving up jazz and funk? No really let's not. But radical isn't bad. Why should consumerism be the default setting. Thanks breslev. You got me thinking.
