What you say and what others hear..

Salmon
Nice example from the State of Union address where Obama says 'People' most and his audience hear 'Salmon'. what you say isn't necessarily what people hear. Which by the way is a neat refutation of the value of using analytics engines to make vast collections of what people are saying online. It doesn't correlate with what readers are 'hearing' online.  The other problem is that the audience hear what they want to hear. Another disconnect. Republicans will hear different words from Democrats. Ain't communications great? Complicated enough to give us a livelihood!
