Flipping Rats

FlippingratThe prize for the silliest Christmas present that came into the house this year had to go to the Natural History Museum's Flipping Rat. A radio controlled rat who you can steer around your home and by pressing a button you can flip it so it drops reassuringly dead on your carpet.

But worse is to come. It turns out that the household rat isn't the problem. Its not the carrier of the bubonic plague. Shattering 700 years of folk memory. Well if its not about to die of bubonic plague then what (may I ask) is the point of flipping it?

The flipping rat is on its flipping way out of our flipping house. Anyone wanting to offer it a good home?
